Buffalo Bill was in … Brussels, the Far East

Did you know that the famous american William F. Cody « Buffalo Bill » (1846-1917) visited Europe and Brussels? I didn’t. When I think of Buffalo Bill, it brings me back to my childhood, playing cowboys and indians in the far Far West with the Goldmines, … well actually in my parents’s backyard!

I recently found out that Buffalo Bill, after his army life, created a show called « Buffalo Bill’s Wild West ». After touring in the US, he was invited to England in 1887, then all over Europe.

His show was presented in Brussels:
– in 1891, « Plaine de Tenbosch » in Ixelles,
– in 1895, Bd Emile Jacqmain at the « Alhambra Theater », in Bruxelles-Ville,
– and finally in 1906, « Plaine de Manoeuvres » in Etterbeek.

J’ai l’impression que les enfants ne jouent plus aux cow boys et aux indiens.
    Est-ce qu’Elouan y joue ?
